他是一個住在英國肯特郡的愛爾蘭男孩(1991/12/19出生，當時只有10歳)
在很多方面他都是個正常的小男孩，喜歡電腦遊戲、游泳、足球，
可是當時他和他的爺爺班一起長大，而他爺爺是個音樂家，在他祖父過世之後，他就繼承了他祖父的歌唱事業。
他八歲就開始參加歌唱比賽，十一歳出了個人專輯《Declan》
成為英國最暢銷的童聲歌手
